Casting Call for the Consanguinamorous

Documentary filmmakers are looking for people involved in consanguinamory. Although she mentions GSA, they are interested in hearing from people whether they are reunion GSA cases or have always been in each others lives. Here's what she wants you to know.

*****

Sometimes things are so controversial that they are hard to understand for people.

Seeing them in a film can help.

We believe in the beautiful and complex love behind Genetic Sexual Attraction and want to show the world this.

Therefore we are looking for the people whose lives have been touched by the Genetic Sexual Attraction phenomenon. People that are willing to share their story with us. A brave thing to do that will help people to stop their preconceptions and truly understand.

It will not be an informative documentary about the subject GSA. It will be a documentary about a special kind of love. About the power of that love and about the misconceptions and judgement around it.

The documentary film will be made by award winning filmmaker Sophie Dros.

The film will be produced by acclaimed production company http://www.halal.amsterdam

If you have any questions do feel free to contact me at Gabriella.ader@gmail.com

*****

Of course people who've been involved in consanguinamory are cautious, but if you have any interest in participating, I recommend at least discussing this with them. Maybe they can address your hesitations?

The more accurate media produced about consanguinamory, the better.

International Non-Binary Day

We recognize, affirm, and stand with our family, friends, and neighbors who are non-binary.

Each individual must be free to be themselves, including to have the relationships to which they mutually agree, if they want a relationship.

Discrimination and prejudice against non-binary people must stop.

Husband Worried About Wife's Reading Material

I recently caught my wife reading stories about father-daughter incest, allegedly by women who had enjoyed this.

I wonder if any of them were on this blog?

I had gotten odd vibes regarding my wife and her father, but I figured that I didn’t really understand father-daughter relationships in general.

The problem here is that he hasn't described any actual behavior.

Now I’m not so sure. It may have just been a fantasy for her, but there are young relatives who could be at risk if her father really is that kind of person.

He didn't describe his FIL doing anything that could be harmful to kids. All we have so far is that his wife, a grown woman, reads stories/confessions (perhaps interviews?) about women who'd been with their fathers.

If we have children ourselves, that will always be in the back of my mind—there is perhaps even the risk that my wife will be inappropriate with her offspring if she regards such relationships as positive.

First, none of those children would be a father to her. Second, there is no indication whatsoever that enjoying stories about women with their fathers correlates to child abuse. It's like saying if this letter writer ever had casual sex, he'd be OK with rape.

Frankly, this makes me never want to have children.

Well, then, if you don't want to have children and your wife does, then either you must agree to her having/raising children with someone else or it is time to end this relationship. (It's possible he never wanted children and has found what he thinks is a good excuse not to.) If she doesn't want to have children either, what then?

Is there any good way to ask my wife about this?

He said he "caught his wife reading" this material. Does she know she was "caught?" Did he snoop? There's important information that's missing. If he invaded her privacy, then he's going to own up to that and it's possible his wife won't want to stay with him on that basis.

He need to answer these questions honestly.

1. How has the marriage been?

2. Assuming this is strictly a matter of fantasy on her part and nothing more, would you still be able to be the husband she needs?

3. Does she want kids? Do you?

If this marriage hasn't been good, if he can't be the husband she needs, or if they don't agree on having children, it's done. Pack it in. Same goes for if he's going to punish her for anything she did before they became a couple. For example, if she and her father experimented in the past, and this letter writer can't handle that, he needs to set her free. (But he doesn't know that's the case yet.)

But if that's not the case and he's open to continuing this marriage, he needs to have an open and honest talk with her.

The Consanguinamorous and Allies Have a Place to Talk

If you're consanguinamorous or have ever been in a consanguinamorous relationship or have had sex with a close relative or want to, are experiencing Genetic Attraction or Genetic Sexual Attraction, you're a friend or family member of someone who is, or you're an ally in general, there is a good forum for you called Kindred Spirits. It's free, so come check it out, sign up with a username, and follow the instructions. The forum is based in France, which has no laws against consenting adults being consanguinamorous, but the forum is in English.

Please note:
  • Kindred Spirits is for people considering consanguinamory or who have been involved in consanguinamory, or experiencing Genetic Attraction or Genetic Sexual Attraction, and allies, and supportive or curious friends and family.
  • It is NOT for anyone under the age of 18.
  • The forum is porn-free. There are plenty of other places to find porn with consanguinamory themes, so don't bother trying to find it at KS.
  • The forum is not for incest fetishists or anyone else looking for fap material. Again, there are plenty of other places for that.
  • The forum is not a place for haters to express their bigotry, prejudice, and ignorance. You're doing that in many other places.
  • The forum is not for any adult who engages in, or wants to advocate, abusing minors or abusing anyone.

Myth: Acting on GSA is Wrong or Destructive

Reality: Acting romantically or sexually on Genetic Sexual Attraction is neither inherently wrong nor destructive. As with any other factor when it comes to relationships, not every situation is the same. Some people just aren’t right for each other. Some people want to keep a vow of monogamy to someone else. Some people want a partner that is close in age, and their GSA relative is significantly older or younger. There are many different things that come into play in relationships. That consenting adults are close genetic relatives does not make a romantic or sexual involvement with each other wrong.

Different people are going to have different moral guidelines about sex, but consanguinamory by people who were not raised together or by one another (which is the situation with reunion GSA) is not considered wrong by everyone or all cultures. Nor is there anything inherently destructive about it, but rather some find it constructive.

For some, it is the best of all possibilities; it is wonderful, lasting, and fulfilling.

What can be destructive is prejudice against GSA or consanguinamory, expressed through criminal prosecution or attacks by family or others.  There is no good reason to deny consenting adults their basic rights when it comes to relationships and their sexuality. Family and friends might benefit from reading this.

Equality., Life, Liberty, and Happiness

July 4 is Independence Day in the US, considered by many our country's birthday. Since that is a Sunday this year, some people will have a day off from work on Monday.

Connected to the day is the Declaration of Independence, which touts equality and notes that we have the rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

When the Declaration of Independence was written, equality was reserved for white, landowning, heterosexual, Christian males. Great strides have been made to extend equality to everyone else. As we know, equality just for some is not equality. In recent times, we have seen many pro-equality court rulings and laws, including the Supreme Court ruling for the nationwide limited monogamous same-gender freedom to marry.

More people are coming out of the closet, and more allies are coming out in support of equality. More people are free to marry, and now we have more polyamorous and polygamous people speaking up for their rights.

But we’re still on our journey. Equality, liberty, and the right to pursue happiness are, in many places in the US, and at the national government level, still denied to LGBTQ people. Even more so, these rights are denied to the polyamorous and the consanguinamorous. The US still struggles with racism.

Let’s keep moving forward so that an adult, regardless of race, religion, sexual orientation, or gender, is free to pursue love, sex, residence and marriage with any and all consenting adults, and not be denied liberty, employment, housing, or anything else.

This isn't just a philosophical thing or a principle. There are people, good people, who are hurt by ongoing discrimination, prejudice, and ignorance. There are people just being themselves, hurting nobody, and people who are in loving, healthy relationships who are being denied their rights, who have to hide who they are or their love for each other, who constantly endure people proclaiming that the love they share is sick or disgusting or makes them worthy of being subjected to abuse or death. There are teenagers who have simply behaved as normal teenagers with each other and haven't hurt anybody (including each other or themselves) who are being lied to and told that nobody else is like them and they are depraved. That's no way to have to live, it certainly isn't liberty, and it squashes the pursuit of happiness.

They need to know they are not alone, and there's nothing wrong with them.

We need independence from hate and ignorance. So let's keep evolving America, and encourage other countries to do the same.

Myth: GSA is Unnatural

Reality: Genetic Sexual Attraction is a normal and natural reaction to the circumstances.

While it is very common for people who spent their childhoods in the same residence together or were raised by one another, whether genetically related or not, to develop a suppression of sexual attraction to each other (this has been described as the Westermarck Effect), close genetic relatives who were not raised together or by one another don’t develop this suppression towards each other. Nor do all people who were raised together or by one another.

They may not be attracted to each other, but they may be. They may even be intensely attracted to each other. Even if intensely attracted to each other, they may not be right for each other. Or, they may be right for each and might go on to have lifelong happiness together.

Studies reveal most people are attracted to people who look like them. Who looks like more you than your close genetic relatives? While not all introductions or reunions result in attraction, many do. And sometimes, the attraction is mutual.

Not only can they look like each other, share genes, and share other traits, but an adult genetic child can look like their other parent; someone to whom the reuniting genetic parent may have had an attraction (especially if the child was conceived through intercourse.) Or, this virtual social stranger can look like your sibling, custodial parent, or other family members, creating a sense of bonding or familiarity.

We Still Need Full Marriage Equality

On this day in 2015, the U.S. Supreme Court affirmed the limited, monogamous same-sex freedom to marry nationwide.

It was a joyous time of progress that should be remembered and celebrated. Happy Anniversary to all who have theirs today!

We must keep evolving towards full marriage equality, so that an adult is free to marry any and all consenting adults. We are in solidarity!

Let's keep making progress!!!

Myth: Anyone Experiencing GSA Needs Therapy

Reality: Therapy won’t always be necessary, but since there is so much prejudice against those who experience Genetic Sexual Attraction, someone who is experiencing it might benefit from therapy.

Experiencing GSA is not an indication that anything is wrong with the person experiencing it. GSA is a normal, natural reaction to the circumstances.

Being reunited with, or introduced to, a close genetic relative who hasn’t been in your life can be enough to prompt therapy, depending on the situation. Add GSA, and yes, therapy can be helpful.

The prejudices, stigmas, and taboos involved in GSA situations, internalized by those involved or not, can be enough of a burden to make therapy beneficial.

However, not everyone who experiences GSA needs therapy. Some people who experience GSA continue to function well without having had therapy.

If someone does need therapy, it would be helpful if they weren’t ostracized or criminalized, and could find a therapist familiar with the issues involved. This is one reason we need to bring GSA and consanguinamory out of the shadows.

Breaking the Law?

I'm active on Quora, where people can ask and answer questions.

Someone asked "Is it illegal for a mother to have sex with her own son?"

Here's my answer.

It’s still illegal for a woman who have sex with her adult son in 48 states in the US and many countries.

It isn’t illegal in the US states of Rhode Island and New Jersey, as well as various modern countries, including France and Spain.

Regardless of criminalization, there are mothers and sons having sex in just about every neighborhood on the planet, regardless of class or ethnicity. And there always have been. Sometimes the sex is a very casual “family-with-benefits” agreement, sometimes it is part of a spousal relationship lasting decades, and sometimes it is somewhere along the wide spectrum between.

Very few are ever caught and prosecuted where it is still illegal, but such lovers need to be careful in order to protect themselves and each other.

I added links in the text here for the sake of people who want more information.

Criminalizing sex between consenting lovers is unjust, stupid, and in the US, is unconstitutional. There is no good reason for such laws, whether they are incest laws or try to force monogamy.. Consanguinamory between mothers and son happens everywhere, and always has.

Are you a mother or son who is involved, or want's to be? Do you know someone who is? Comment below or contact me.

Mock Movie Trailer Isn’t Bad

Consanguinamory gets played for laughs a lot, often cruelly. But this mock trailer for a comedy about a brother and sister couple isn’t bad.

Too bad the movie doesn’t really exist. It could could open some minds.

An Aunt Tells Us of Her Love For Her Nephew

We have another exclusive interview to bring you. As this interview is being published, there are many people still spending more time home with family members. Perhaps some of them will find this interview an inspiration? Or they can see this for some possibilities.

People in consanguinamorous relationships are everywhere, though consanguinamorists tend to be closeted. Fortunately, some are willing to be interviewed for this blog. As a result, Full Marriage Equality has featured scores of exclusive interviews with lovers denied the freedom to marry and have that marriage treated equally under the law. Most can’t even be out if the closet or they’ll gave prosecution under absurd incest laws, which, instead of focusing on abuse, also target consensual relationships.

The woman interviewed below should be free
to legally marry her partner, or simply to be together as a couple without having to hide, yet they can’t. Prejudice can be deadly. They are consenting adults who aren’t hurting anyone; why should they have been denied their rights? In much of the world, they could be criminally prosecuted for their love, and might be persecuted severely in addition.

Read the interview below and see for yourself what this woman has to say about the additional bond she has. You may think this relationship is interesting, or it might make you uncomfortable, or you might find it ideal, even highly erotic and romantic, but whatever your reaction, should lovers like these be denied equal access to marriage or any other rights simply because they love each other this way?

Also please note that someone you love, respect, and admire could be in a similar relationship right now. Should they be attacked and denied rights because of the "incest" label?

**WARNING: Mild descriptions of sex are included.**

FULL MARRIAGE EQUALITY: Describe yourself.

Anu: I am a human resources professional in a large multinational corporation in Kolkata, India. I am a 43 years-old, heterosexual, liberal-minded person. I am a divorcee for over five years and stay with my only son who is about 14. I do try to maintain myself well at this age, although some might call me a bit bulky. I am 5'3", about 60 kilograms in weight, have medium length hair. I have one elder sister and an elder brother.

I like to cook, do photography and enjoy traveling. I prefer wearing western attire more than the traditional Indian attire.

I
had a wonderful childhood with most of my needs taken care of, although by no means it was luxurious. I like to work hard and I think I have two sides of me, one which is very docile with my family and another very dominating one at my work. My near families are all close to me and I like doing things for most of my near ones. I live in a large apartment complex with my son. My sister’s family, too, stays in the same complex but in a different apartment. We have a very strong relationship between the two families.
