To prevent spam, comments will have to be approved, so your comment may not appear for several hours. Feedback is welcome, including disagreement. I only delete/reject/mark as spam: spam, vulgar or hateful attacks, repeated spouting of bigotry from the same person that does not add to the discussion, and the like. I will not reject comments based on disagreement, but if you don't think consenting adults should be free to love each other, then I do not consent to have you repeatedly spout hate on my blog without adding anything to the discourse.
If you want to write to me privately, then either contact me on Facebook, email me at fullmarriageequality at protonmail dot com, or tell me in your comment that you do NOT want it published. Otherwise, anything you write here is fair game to be used in a subsequent entry. If you want to be anonymous, that is fine.
IT IS OK TO TALK ABOUT SEX IN YOUR COMMENTS, BUT PLEASE CHOOSE YOUR WORDS CAREFULLY AS I WANT THIS BLOG TO BE AS "SAFE FOR WORK" AS POSSIBLE. If your comment includes graphic descriptions of activity involving minors, it's not going to get published.
Keith, I think you should go into the Unpopular Opinions Reddit and post that you think consanguinamory should be supported.
ReplyDeleteI have a scenario question for you: How should I deal with a comment on the internet that compliments Iran for always having the death penalty for incestuous relationships and wants it in the West?
ReplyDeleteJust like you should deal with the comments that compliment Nazi Germany for its racial policies, that compliment modern dictators and "strong leaders" for trying to create a pseudo-democratic social systems in order to establish the dominance of their own clique, redistribute spheres of influence and seize territories. Like you should deal with the comments that compliment any religious extremism that seeks to control people in the name of supposedly "spirituality," "purity of faith," and "salvation of souls." Like you should deal with the comments that compliment the death penalty for drug use, adultery, or insulting the greatness of state leaders in power.
DeleteI would like such commentators to experience for themselves or for their loved ones the measures they compliment.
I want to share the credo formulated by me: "Any two (or more in the case of polyamory) human beings have the highest moral right consciously, voluntarily, freely, without any external restrictions to love each other, create a family (including a legally recognized one), have children together (as far as nature and the ability of partners to raise children independently allow) – regardless of skin color, nationality, citizenship, gender, age (with only legal non-discriminatory restrictions on minimum age of marriage) and degree of kinship."
ReplyDeleteI am sure that only two sufficient reasons are important that give any couple (or polyamorous group) a ground to be together – conscious mutual love and the courage to defend it and their human rights in front of the whole world.
I want to add to my previous comment.
ReplyDeleteThe persecution taking place in Iran against those who dare to engage in incestuous/consanguineous relationships and their destruction is a real genocide.
Unfortunately, the "Definitions of Genocide and Related Crimes" formulated by the United Nations" (https://www.un.org/en/genocide-prevention/definition#:~:text=To%20constitute%20genocide%2C%20there%20must,to%20simply%20disperse%20a%20group ) include only "a national, ethnic, racial or religious group" in genocide.
And this does not allow punishing criminals, mentally or physically, who kill, maim and humiliate people because of their sexual orientation and choice of sexual partners.
I am sure that besides Iran in a number of other countries, people who are LGBTQ+, polyamorous, consanguinamorous are still in great danger. They are subjected to judicial and spontaneous physical violence, their children are taken away from them, and many end up committing suicide.
Such an attitude towards innocent people who consensually/non-violently and consciously follow their sexual nature is a disgrace to humanity.
Therefore, a struggle should be launched to expand the concept of "genocide" to groups of people who adhere to "non-traditional" sexual relations. This is a very difficult task, but we need to take the first, albeit a small, step.
