“It's not natural." Many people have been embarrassed by making this
argument, because it is so easy to
refute by a cursory survey of sexual, mating, and partnering habits of various animals. But invariably, the person
saying that a relationship should not be allowed because they think it is
unnatural constantly enjoys things that aren’t natural, from their smart phones
to their toiletries to their food to their clothing to their transportation to
their housing… on and on it goes. “Hey! You can’t ride a bicycle! It’s not
natural!” See how ridiculous that is?
There is no good reason to deny an adult, regardless of gender, sexual
orientation, race or religion, the right to share love, sex, residence, and
marriage (or any of those without the others) with any and all consenting adults without prosecution, bullying, or
discrimination.

Humiliate, abuse, kill each other?
Use drugs, hire an escort, or work in it?
Cheating on committed partners, sleeping with everyone around?
Neglect children, mock them because they cannot resist the desires and intentions of their parents?
Oh, yes! After all, we do it all with the best of intentions. We are the most important, the most correct, the most worthy, we find an excuse for everything in our favor. We, we, we...
Everyone who doesn't look like us is inferior to us by default, they always do everything wrong, they're disgusting...
Do they love their own relatives sexually and romantically?
Of course, they are just animals, cattle, dust and dirt, let's put them in prison, or better yet, stone them to death.
Are they sexually attracted to people of the same sex as them?
They are seriously ill, they must be forcibly treated, if necessary, in correctional camps, and if it does not help, they must be tried and held in custody...
And so on and so forth.
It's a shame that most people don't have a clue about true human rights. Majority opinion: if they are not with us, they are against us, they are a threat! They should be destroyed, or at best, we should pretend that they don't exist, that the problem doesn't exist.
It is so convenient and safe to lie, to be a hypocrite, to convince ourselves that society, the church, the state and surrounding are right, and people with other sexual behavior are always wrong and very dangerous.
People are having a hard time getting used to the fact that their children, parents, friends and acquaintances are gay and lesbian. When will we finally stop confusing our selfishness with objectivity?
When will we become, at least in words, and then in deeds, tolerant towards consanguinamory?
In 100 years, in 200, 300?
In the meantime, every day, every hour, small and big tragedies occur everywhere on Earth that could have been avoided...
