Polyandry Works for Her

Violet at the blog Violet and Emily provides the definition of polyandry (one woman, multiple men), then explains her polyandrous nature…

I’ve been polyandrous for as long as I can remember. Even before I knew there was a word for it, I knew that I wanted to have more than one boyfriend. The idea of being stuck with one person, to the exclusion of all others FOREVER, kind of freaked me out, even as a kid.

I tried monogamy. It didn’t work.

She goes on to explain her journey to discovering polyandry was the right relationship for her.

Violet and the men in her life should be free to have their relationships without discrimination or bullying. If they want to marry, they should not be denied.

  1. Polyandry is amazing. I have three husbands who are devoted to me and we all live together. I have a loving, marital relationship with each one and I have grown children with 2 of them and am trying with the 3rd. These men are not part of a cuckold thing. I have a private sex life with each of them.

They've worked out their jealousy issues with each other but are fiercly protective of me when it comes to other men who want to date me.

The sexual dynamic is interesting, and they've worked out some system i havent figured out for having sex with me without stepping on each others toes. I will kiss and fondle one husband while the others are around, but sexual touching and nudity is done in private. I almost never deny them access to my body, so I think knowing that they can have me helps keep the peace.

I would like to eventually have 4-5 husbands, so I do date quite a bit. I've been seeing a 4th man and my husbands aren't too keen on letting another man into our family. I've had to break them in slowly, first introductions, then family dinner, etc. My husbands are polite but cold. Recently I invited the 4th man to dinner with my husbands and I, and we had sex in my bedroom. We exited to find three silent but scathing husbands in the living room. Their reaction to other men touching me is always to ejaculate inside me as quickly as possible. One by one they approached me for sex, and I spent the rest of the evening engaged in tender lovemaking with each of my husbands and reassuring them that I still love them. Right now we are just working on them accepting that I'm dating again, and it's important for me to have sex with the men I am dating.
