I love my country, but like a lot of people I wish the laws were different as well.

-Deborah-Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3152584185487706890.post-23192568912875693982017-01-14T16:49:15.147-08:002017-01-14T16:49:15.147-08:00Thank you for sharing your beautiful story. I gues...Thank you for sharing your beautiful story. I guess it is not an opportunity, but you and your family would be very welcome to my country. Although our laws unfortunately doesn’t give this right to other siblings, as half-sibs grown up apart you could by permission from the County Board get married in Sweden (all half-siblings are allowed to have sex). Hopefully laws (in the US, here and everywhere) will be improved in the future.

/Jakob
Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3152584185487706890.post-37099327263185071452015-02-16T08:21:40.251-08:002015-02-16T08:21:40.251-08:00This is my interview. If something should happen to me she could fight him for custody of our son because there is no legal proof that he is the father of our son. My mom would do something like that. Other than legal matters though, I do know we are very lucky to be able to be so open.

-Deborah-Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3152584185487706890.post-65541128899871990822015-02-14T10:37:40.540-08:002015-02-14T10:37:40.540-08:00This is lovely.
One thing I can never understand ...This is lovely.
One thing I can never understand is why people want their relationship so badly on official documents though. I understand marriage due to the benefits the state gives, but a piece of paper like a birth certificate sounds inconsequential. If you can walk out holding hands together (in this case due to the obliviousness of everyone around you), why care? Your kid can obviously tell who his dad is, and most people will just assume.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
